広がる・つながる・Always 4G LTEauは、プラチナバンド 800MHz帯による「au 4G LTE」サービスの実人口カバー率99%*1を達成し、さらに、LTEの次世代高速通信規格「LTE-Advanced」の要素技術である「キャリアアグリゲーション（CA）」を国内で初めて導入しました。CAは、複数の周波数帯で同時にLTEのデータ通信を行い、周波数ごとに受信したデータを足し合わせることで、高速な通信を実現します。次世代音声通話サービス「au VoLTE」は、高音質*2でスピーディーな発着信が特長です。音声通話中のWeb閲覧やメールの送受信など、データ通信と音声通話の同時利用も可能になり、この技術を活用したコミュニケーションサービス「シンクコール」と「ボイスパーティー」は、ご好評をいただいています。*1 国勢調査に用いられる約500ｍ区間において、50%以上の場所で通信可能なエリアをもとに算定しています。*2 「 au VoLTE」対応機種同士となります。Expanding and Connecting?Always 4G LTEWe have achieved an actual population coverage ratio of 99%* for“au 4G LTE” service over the 800MHz “platinum band.” Furthermore,we were the first in Japan to introduce carrier aggregation (CA) for“LTE-Advanced,” the next-generation high-speed LTE communicationsstandard. CA makes simultaneous use of multiple bandwidths,aggregating them to conduct LTE data communication. Combiningthe data received at each frequency allows faster communications.“au VoLTE,” our next-generation voice call service, features highquality* and speedy incoming and outgoing calling. Customers canalso perform data communication, such as browsing the Web andsending and receiving e-mail, during voice calls.
